Presentations by Foreigners
So, you are a foreigner who has just arrived and has lots to share with Japan during the short time you’re here. Give us (SILC - Sapporo International Language Coordinators) a call and we can arrange something just for you. Maybe you’ve been in Japan or another country for some time, have picked up new knowledge or skills, and would like to share them with others while you’re in Japan. Again, give us (SILC) a call and we’ll do our best to arrange a small group meeting or maybe even a workshop for you. Of course, we also arrange events for Japanese in Japanese.

Presentation topics
We’re interested in topics such as the environment, education, counseling, activism, traditional arts, etc. If you know someone who is a specialist in these fields and will be visiting Hokkaido, let us know at  ASAP, and let’s see what we can arrange. SILC arranged workshops for David Nunan (Aug. 2004), Chikako Tsuruta (Mar. 2005), JoAnn Sanders, (May 2004, 2005), etc. At SILC, we are language coordinators. We use public facilities so we can’t charge much and you won't earn a fortune, but it’s a loaa for you to leave Japan without leaving something of yourself behind. SILC guarantees a minimum of 8,000 yen for a two-hour presentation.
